- Front pockets are deep enough to carry hand tools; gussets keep an everyday-carry knife or tape measure handy
- Back drop-in pockets are deep enough to carry hand tools; pockets also create a double-fabric seat for abrasion resistance
- Double-fabric knees add durability at high-contact points; bottom openings accommodate kneepads and allow easy cleanout
